Satoka Guest House in Brief

We founded Satoka Guest House in 2000 because we wanted to have adventures, share the beauty of Rundu, and meet new people with different backgrounds and stories. We'd always loved hosting houseguests and cooking for a crowd, so opening Satoka Guest House was a natural choice!

Kerthu Veijo is the manager and creator of the Guest House. Her tenacity and select business and people skills allowed her to connect instantly with everyone she encountered and so she forms a big part in the homey feel of the establishment. She is always encouraging the staff to treat the guests as if they were relatives not seen for a long time.

We combined our passion for hospitality with the intrigue of business to create the Guest House. You can find hints of the Kavango in a lot of aspects about us. The color scheme resembles the land of Kavango, green and lush in the rainy season, and brown and warm during the dry season.
